I was shocked to watch Depp, along with The Black Keys (one of my favorite current top 5 bands) jam out at the MTV Movie Awards! I personally don’t find Depp to be the heart throb that most girls do, but he’s still pretty amazing!!

Well, here she is. Maxwell Drew Johnson, in a cheap headband, bare feet, and the butteriest Pop-Tartiest cheeks of all time, graces the cover of this week’s People.
I hope she was worth the seventeen-month wait.
I just spent a loverly extended weekend visiting my old college town, Binghamton, to see old friends and enjoy a bit of the countryside. We stopped at Ithaca for the Primative Pursuits Festival; where I learned how to make fire with sticks, made bracelets from tree scraps, ate edible plants and watched a few amazing bands, one of which my friend & brilliant artist, Nina Svatovic, used a washboard with spoons for beats. It ended with an all night bonfire, smores & watermelon vodka. Talk about livin! I missed those days where you can spend all day & night outdoors. I saw things most city slickers never see, like stars, possum and grass. I returned Monday to my unfaithful N train to Astoria and the warm smell of piss that is NYC!
